Color your world blue on United Nations anniversary

ONU 70 EN1[UN-NGO] Sister Catherine Prendergast, representing the Company of the Daughters of Charity at the United Nations, shares the news below from the UN in New York:

TURN THE WORLD UN BLUE:  Saturday, October 24,  marks the 70th anniversary of the United Nations.  Worldwide, people will celebrate with a splash of the color UN blue.   This is an opportunity to unite global citizens;  promote the message of peace, development, and human rights; and showcase your commitment to the UN’s ideals and principles of dignity and prosperity for all. Major landmarks across the globe will be lit up UN blue for #UN70. Displaying blue balloons, blue banners, blue streamers, blue stickers, or blue pins are other ways of celebrating.  Anything blue will do!

You can be part of the global celebration and upload your UN Blue images with the hashtag #UN70
