Embracing the Holy Family in the faces of refugees<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>

In the time of our Founders, wars were the cause of the exodus of thousands of people of all ages and social classes. The main place where these humiliated and helpless people went was Paris. Vincent poured the treasures of his tenderness on these poor outcasts, starting with the most vulnerable.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Today, famine, natural disasters, oppressive and corrupt regimes and global conflicts also contribute to the growing number of displaced people. Most do not know anyone in their new destination, do not speak the language and have no money. They are therefore easy targets for forced labor, sexual exploitation and theft.<\/p>\n

Inspired by the Gospel, the Daughters of Charity see in every displaced family fleeing persecution, parents and young people looking for work in countries where they do not speak the language, in families looking for a place to live and others, the presence of the Holy Family as refugees. They work for the promotion and protection of refugees and the defense of their human rights. To this end, they offer them:<\/p>\n
