The main place where these humiliated and helpless people went was Paris. Vincent poured the treasures of his tenderness on these poor outcasts, starting with the most vulnerable.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_4 et_animated  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>Today, famine, natural disasters, oppressive and corrupt regimes and global conflicts also contribute to the growing number of displaced people. Most do not know anyone in their new destination, do not speak the language and have no money. They are therefore easy targets for forced labor, sexual exploitation and theft.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by the Gospel, the Daughters of Charity see in every displaced family fleeing persecution, parents and young people looking for work in countries where they do not speak the language, in families looking for a place to live and others, the presence of the Holy Family as refugees. They work for the promotion and protection of refugees and the defense of their human rights.
