X Interprovincial Meeting of Communities Living in Popular Environments and Pastoral Homes

19/05/2025

With great joy and in the spirit of communion, we organised the X Interprovincial Meeting of Communities Living in Popular Environments and Pastoral Homes!

The event took place at the Provincial House of the Daughters of Charity in the Province of Curitiba and brought together Sisters from the six Provinces of Brazil. It was a blessed space for listening, sharing and deep reflection, affirming our commitment to the Vincentian mission, especially in the face of the challenges of the present times.

During the meeting, we reflected on topics of great importance, such as the social, political and ecclesial situation in Brazil and the world, seeking to recognise the signs of the times in the light of the Gospel. One of the most inspiring moments was the reflection on reconfiguration, understood as a call to interior and communal renewal, being a prophetic and hopeful presence in today’s world.

The fraternal sharing among the Sisters warmed hearts, strengthened the bonds of unity and fuelled the hope of continuing to sow the Kingdom with courage, simplicity and fidelity to the charism of Saint Vincent de Paul.

May this meeting continue to bear fruit of prophecy, solidarity and service, especially towards the poorest and marginalised!
