Passing of Sister Juana Elizondo

24/07/2022

España-Norte

We learned of the death Sister Juana ELIZONDO at 96 years age and 71 years of vocation in San Sebastian, on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

We give thanks to God for her beautiful life, for her unfailing attachment to Christ and her tireless dedication to the service of the Company, especially during her twelve years as Superior General.

We pray for her, her family, the poor whom she served and loved as well as for the Sisters whom she knew and accompanied, especially those of her Province of España-Norte.

Her funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26.  You may wish to join in it in your thought and prayer by offering a Mass for this intention.

May the Lord receive her into His peace and joy!
