UNTIL THE END Saint Vincent de Paul, messenger and servant

03/08/2025

The group GM Music in collaboration with Bluverse Academy presents the musical work Until the end. Saint Vincent de Paul, messenger and servant. It is a production of the Congregation of the Mission (General Curia and Italian Province) made on the occasion of the fourth centenary of the foundation of the Congregation of the Mission of Saint Vincent de Paul.

The work recalls some important and significant passages from the life of Saint Vincent de Paul in comparison with today’s times, to reaffirm the continued relevance of the Vincentian Charism. God’s plan for man yesterday, today, and always is love. The very search for love by man is the yearning that God puts in the heart: love that, on earth, is crossed by disorder… while God tries, in every time and in every way, to restore harmony, hope, and beauty, through the charismatic action of Vincent de Paul “yesterday” and the Vincentians “today”.

The production was coordinated by Father Salvatore Farì, a Vincentian missionary, and directed by Maestro Claudio Mantegna, who also composed the music, while the screenplay and lyrics were written by Sister Rosanna Pitarresi, a Daughter of Charity.
