We are in mourning but filled with gratitude for his life of self-giving. Pope Francis has passed away – a close, humble priest and a prophet for our time. His life served as a courageous witness to the Gospel and was a constant call for mercy, peace, fraternity, and care for the poorest and our common home. With deep gratitude, we entrust him to God in our prayers and offer thanks for the gift of his life, words, and example. May the Good Shepherd welcome him, and may his legacy continue to inspire humanity.
