From July 30 to August 3, the International Web Site Team of the Company of the Daughters of Charity gathered for its annual meeting, a true workshop of ideas, inspiration and creativity. This event was an important moment in planning the multimedia content that will enrich our website in the upcoming year.
A key highlight of the meeting was the open and constructive discussion among the team members, a valuable opportunity to discuss and reflect on the many aspects of digital communication. Each day it brought its news, culminating on Thursday, August 1, with a half-day training led by Sophie Nouaille, responsible for the communication of CORREF (Conference of Religious of France).
Saturday morning provided a special moment for the team: a joyful and informal meeting with the Superioress General, who reaffirmed the crucial importance of digital communication in the Company, encouraging the team to stay with the times and use modern technologies to spread our message of hope and charity.
During the meeting, the team expressed gratitude, to Sister Annabelle Escoto (for the English language) and Sister Irene Malate (for the Portuguese language) who concluded their term at the International Web Site. Their tireless and creative work has left an indelible imprint on the whole team. The baton has now passed to Sister Karina Yuyun Katharina, from Indonesia and Sister Alessandra Sousa from Brazil, who are ready to carry on the legacy passed on to them with passion and dedication.
This meeting strengthened the bond between all of us, nourishing our shared mission. We are eager to face future challenges and ready to build, little by little, a digital bridge that leads us to the “sixth Continent” (digital world).
Our International Web Site Team of the Company of the Daughters of Charity is grateful to be able to continue on this digital road, with our hearts filled with gratitude and our eyes turned to the future, always guided by the light of our Founders and guided by Mary, the only mother of the Company.
