In thanksgiving and praise to the Lord we join the Vincentian Missionaries who are living in joy the 4th Centenary of the Foundation of the Congregation of the Mission. To this goal they prepare themselves with prayer and commitment in mission in order to revitalize the three dimensions of Vincentian spirituality, as indicated by Superior General Fr. Tomaz Mavric, who writes: «the prophetic dimension that from the grace of the Spirit of God who is ‘above us’ comes the listening to the cry of the poor and the readiness to care; the synodal dimension that sees the overcoming of individualism for a communal journey and action; and the missionary dimension whose authenticity arises from a deep spirituality, intense communion, closeness and friendship with Jesus».
