On the Assumption each year, we celebrate Mary, she who accompanies us and whom we, with all the people of God, ask to intercede for us. She has entered into the glory in which we will all share one day. May this feast of the Assumption help us to continue our faith journey and our human journey, may Mary’s witness lead us to a more intense familiarity with the Word of God and may we look at Mary as Mother of Jesus, Mother of Christ, a disciple with the disciples.
