Arise and Shine!

10/10/2022

And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overwhelm it, so arise and shine! The glory of the Lord has risen upon you! With this song’s refrain, we closed the Fourth Congress of Young Consecrated Persons held in Licheń from September 22 to 25, 2022.

After 4 years, more than 600 nuns, religious, and consecrated laity from 84 different congregations and 14 associations/institutes gathered at the Lichen Shrine for the Congress, with the theme “Arise and Shine.”

With faith, we prayed for the kindling of our charisms, gave thanks for the gift of vocation, shared the joy and enthusiasm for the life God has given us. We wanted to show the young face of the Church and to give witness to everyone that we are a community of passionate and hopeful people! May God be praised for this meaningful time!
